Copilot offers four flexible ways to select option strikes, depending on how you prefer to work β from fast text input to visual exploration and strategy-driven selection.
1. Parse strikes directly from a broker-style quote
If you already think in broker notation, Copilot can automatically extract strikes from a text command.
You can type a quote like:
Copilot will:
Detect the underlying and expiry
Parse the strike levels (
60and65)Build the corresponding option structure automatically
β Best for fast input, copy-pasting broker quotes, or experienced traders.
2. Manually select a strike from the dropdown
You can constantly adjust strikes manually using the Strike dropdown next to each leg.
This method allows you to:
Fine-tune individual legs
Quickly switch between nearby strikes
Stay entirely in control of each option leg
β Best for precise manual adjustments.
3. Choose strikes visually using the Strike Map
Click the Strike Map to the left of the strike field to open a full visual overview of available strikes.
Inside the Strike Map, you can:
Browse strikes across expiries
Click directly on call or put prices (other option columns)
Compare strikes visually across the curve
Customizing Strike Map columns
You can also customize which data is shown in the Strike Map.
Available columns include:
Call / Put prices
Implied volatility (IV)
Delta (call/put)
Moneyness
Standard deviation
Quick delta
This makes it easy to select strikes based on risk, probability, or Greeks, not just price.
β Best for exploratory analysis and visual decision-making.
4. Create strikes from the βSelect Structureβ form
When creating a structure from scratch, you can define strikes relative to market parameters instead of fixed prices.
In the Select Structure form, strikes can be chosen by:
Delta (e.g. 0.35 delta)
Moneyness
Absolute strike value
Copilot will automatically convert these inputs into concrete strikes for the selected product and expiry.
β Best for strategy-driven trading and systematic setups.
